“Don't bother...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Honestly, I have only been here once. Usually one visit doesn't prompt me to write a review; however everything was terrible. The glasses we were given were dirty (lipstick on them). The service was really poor and the food was over priced and just OK at best. All of us were served cold french fries. I ordered what was called "Fish and Chips" It was basically three fish sticks with cold fries. While they do not brew their own beer yet they offered a good selection of micro brewed local beers. The beer just isn't enough to make me go back. Several places in Leesburg sell the same selections if not better. The noise level was too high to enjoy the company of your table.

“Nice place with great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

We stopped in to try their beer, but they don't make their own - yet. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Their brewery will be downstairs, below the restaurant and will start producing in a month or two. I enjoyed the beers they carry now. I tried a flight of four beers and can't wait to try theirs in a couple months.

“The Name Might Be Misleading, But the Food Isn't”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

So the name is slightly misleading. When a place is called a Brewing Company you would expect them to be brewing their own beer. However LBC doesn't. That's not to say it's bad though. While they have a small tap list, 6 altogether, 4 are usually beers brewed in Virginia. The bottle selection isn't half bad either, and that includes wine as well.

The LBC is situated in a converted storefront just off the main drag in Downtown Leesburg. Seating comprises of about 20 or so tables, a sanding room area against one wall, and a small bar the seats about 8 (note the bar has no TV, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it). The staff was welcoming and pleasant keeping a good eye on if i needed anything. While it was moderately busy when i arrived, it had become significantly busier by the time i left, which for 8pm i though was pretty impressive.

As for the food, i decided to go with something smallish. My choice was the BBQ pulled chicken sliders. I'll admit i am not much of a BBQ aficionado, for most of my life avoiding it, mostly because i am not a pork person. However recent BBQ experiences, including this one, have made me seriously reconsider BBQ. Needless to say the sliders were fantastic. They had just the right amount of sauce with the right amount of tanginess and spice that i would want to see with a BBQ sandwich. On top of it all the chicken was moist, tender, and of the just right shredded quality for a pulled sandwich.

My only qualms were with the setup, but they are mostly minor and not enough to detract from the experience as a whole. While i would like to try out other places in Leesburg when i get the chance to pass though the area again. I am sure that i would not turn down the opportunity to go back to the LBC.
