“Dog Park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

Not much to dislike, except that there are few picnic tables and not much wildlife (the usual ducks, geese, rabbits, groundhogs, and some birds occasionally). The main draw here is the dog park and the building in front of it, a hall for parties, classes (dog/puppy obedience classes run by the City of Leesburg), and anyone who wants to rent it. Its located behind the Food Lion on Rt 15 (southern end of town) and over a one lane wooden bridge over the town branch of Tuscarora Creek.

“Great dog park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

our dogs love it here! This is a great place to socialize your dogs and meet your fellow leesburgians. sometimes you run into someone who does not pay attention to their dogs but its the exception rather than the rule.

“IWLA-Dog Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

The only Dog Park in Leesburg VA.
A very large pond and old chapter house

This property used to be part of the Izaak Walton, Loudoun Chapter that moved outside of town in the 60s.
some of the rock outcrops are remains of limestone used in Washington DC for the Monuments.

“Best dog park in the area!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

Tons of fresh mulch, gated area for the dogs almost as big as a football field, fresh water, benches and picnic tables and plenty of free parking. The best part: it's free! No fees, like in Frederick. You can just go and enjoy Virginia tax dollars at work!

What a wonderful spot! I wish Jefferson Co. in West Virginia had as good of a park for our quadruped friends!
