We stopped in Leesburg whilst touring and asked at the Tourist Info for the best B&B and went to the Norris House. It's in the old part of Leesburg and the sights/shops are within walking distance including a few great restaurants. Fantastic breakfasts, very comfy room, good bathroom. It was Mothers' day (different day in US to England) so we found lots closed. We did find a deli/wine store and bought a variety of local cheeses and pate, a bottle of wine. Back at the Norris they happily supplied us with plates, corkscrew etc and we had a leisurly Sunday afternoon on their porch reading the papers (supplied) and quietly getting sleepy (it was the travelling not the wine). After a little nap we were given a rundown of the local restaurants and set off walking. There are lots of bike trails nearby and people cycle lots, staying at the Norris. There is aslo a tea room in the grounds and proper English cream tea is served, and yes it was lovely.
I strongly recommend this B&B, it is everything an upmarket home should be.
