My husband had a conference at Lansdowne, so I tagged along for the first 3 days of our combo business/pleasure vacation. Norris House Inn was perfect. For 3 days, I was within walking distance to the Spa, amazing boutiques and antique stores, and fine restaurants. Wine Kitchen was hands down, the best of them all! When hubby was done with the conference, we discovered Virginia Wine Country. Loudoun County is beautiful in the Fall!
The B&B was tastefully decorated and we had the Norris Room for the duration of our stay. Not exactly quiet, as the Norris Room faces a busy street, but the room was spacious, with a small sofa, and we had a private bathroom. Unfortunately, the "chef" was away due to an emergency in England, so we didn't get any of the fabulous breakfasts for our stay, but that is okay. Roger's great recommendations for restaurants and shopping made up for it. One day, the weather was so nice, I bought some prosecco and had my own happy hour in the beautifully landscaped backyard. We loved Leesburg and loved Norris House Inn, and most definitely would stay there again.
