We enjoyed our short trip so much last year that we came back for a return trip again this August.
Enjoyed the Cascades course tremendously. A beautiful, well maintained course that isn't run like a golf factory! The hotel is also nice. Rooms are nice and decent value for money. Second time visiting the Jefferson Pools and loved the indoor mineral pools. Worth another visit.
Now for the downsides:
The restaurants are expensive and the food is average. Most guests who are returnees recommend outside restauruants. We tried the new Canyon Ranch Cafe and found most of the food to be tasteless! Shrimp was fine, as were Korean tacos..but the salads (the 2 chicken salads) were absolutely tasteless. What a disappointment. Breakfast in the Main dining room was excellent, but $27 for breakfast?Ladies pro shop has alot of last years mechandise at this years prices. Needs some work. Also thought I would see more fitness classes at the Canyon Ranch Facility. Looks nice, but didn't have time to try it out.
Lastly, everyone expects a tip. Would prefer a resort fee that includes all tips. Its a pain to dig in your pockets. Also, include parking in the fee.
