“Excellent service and great rates”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2010

Good hotel with great service and affordable rates. Some construction work is going on.. however it does not hamper the comfort.

This is airport hotel with free shuttle to/from Dulles (IAD) airport every half hour. This hotel is just average. Currently is under construction but does not affect your stay in hotel. The large spacious lobby features a bar where you can spend time. Checkin is fast. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are large and clean and have traditional decor. The hotel has a gym and indoor swimming pool. Good buffet breakfast with the point of preparing omelettes in accordance with the wishes of the guest. I recommend this hotel for people with early flights.

Stayed here for two nights. Very close to Reston Town Center and Dulles Airport.

Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Construction is going on at this time, but did not interfere with our stay.

If you need a place to stay for a night or two, this is fine. Not very close to Washington, DC, so if that is your destination, you may want to stay at another hotel.

This hotel is just average. I stayed for two nights and wasn't too pleased. Every other hotel that I have ever stayed at included a wet bar and refrigerator. However, here, that isn't the case. It's an extra $19 for a fridge. Our room wasn't too big and we had trouble with the shower on the first use. You're charged for internet at check-in, but it's complimentary and the charges disappear at check-out. The bed was comfy and so was the pull-out. Room service was quick, and the food was fairly good, but a little overpriced. The front desk attendants were very friendly. I was charged almost $100 extra for whatever reason (aren't incidental fees usually just $50?), but they claim the charges would disappear after check-out. My money is still missing. It was an alright stay, but don't think I would come back.

Stayed here because of a park and fly deal. Came in after a long flight.
Friendly staff. Part of the hotel is
under construction, but it doesn't get in the way.
We were "upgraded" to a "pure" room--supposedly hypoallergenic and "all surfaces
wiped clean." Unfortunately, found someone else's hair in the bed and a filthy room service breakfast menu placed on top of the bed.
When we complained to the front desk we were quickly changed to a regular room, although they didn't seem particulary surprised or concerned about the cleanliness problems we had pointed out. The new room seemed cleaner, except for part of the wall
where coffee had spilled and never been wiped up. I'm not a super neat freak or anything, but maybe a little pickier than your average traveller. I have stayed at other Hyatt properties without a problem. I just think they need to work on their housekeeping at this property. That said, the room was large, nicely laid out and a good value.

Stayed in this hotel twice in one week. First night July 03, and returned for the next stay July 07, 2010. Hyatt just put $45million into this hotel. Both times staff professional, large rooms (rare for an airport hotel), clean and of course Marriott comfort beds. The lobby bar has an international flare to it. Great little fitness center with comfortable pool spa area. Shuttle bus leaves for airport and returns from airport 30min prompt. If you get lucky like I did and stay here via Priceline.com for USD$45.00 a night you hit the jackpot. Even at the regular rate this airport Hyatt is one not to be missed.

I got this hotel when booking a 4star property through Hotwire.com. I took photos of the room, but mine look exactly like the ones already posted here on TripAdvisor, so no need to add them. My room was nicely decorated and everything looked new and clean. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe in this hotel and neighborhood. Hyatt is funny in that you get some nice freebies (parking, fitness center, toothpaste, airport shuttle) but they charge high prices for other things (bottled water, wifi, room service coffee).

Location is very convenient to Dulles airport, but if you're staying more than a day you'll need a rental car. There's nothing within walking distance except offices and other hotels. And if you're planning to do all of the tourist activities and sightseeing in the heart of DC, plan on a fifteen minute drive just to get yourself to the nearest Metro station (Vienna). It's a bit misleading of Hotwire to call this a DC hotel, but sometimes it's worth staying far from the city center if you can get a nice hotel at a nice price.
