From the moment we walked in the staff was engaging--asked what kind of activities we were interested in, told us about parking, opening hours, restaurant recommendations, and provided maps. They were so friendly and seriously wanted us to know EVERYTHING about their city. The short walking tour is a nice way to see the historic buildings in the center of the city. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day to try one of the restaurants (unfortunately, not as nice an experience as the Visitor's Center...). This is a great way to begin your visit to the city. Most importantly, for those who are not from the area, the signs are plentiful on how to find them and there is free parking right behind the Center.
