“Fantastic B&B!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

My wife booked this Bed & Breakfast at the last minute as our first choice was already booked for the evening. I was a tad skeptical about her booking as I am a Trip Advisor junkie, and seeing a limited amount of reviews with no pictures had me thinking twice about our reservation. Upon our arrival all doubts were immediately erased. What a BEAUTIFUL Bed & Breakfast! An absolute immaculate home set on a picturesque plot of land. The rooms were overwhelmingly large, clean and modern. Not to mention the location was perfect and the price was right, as we were looking for a sort of home base to tour VA wine country. Chris (owner) was such a pleasure to deal with and was an absolute delight. Zion Springs is a fairly new B&B (2+ years in business) but it seems as if this family has been in the business for decades. Zion Springs has now become our FIRST choice for B&B's when in Loudoun County and I look forward to our return visit!

And yes, breakfast was DELICIOUS!

My fiance and I stayed at Zion Springs for 2 nights during our trip to Virginia for a wedding. This may have been one of the best places we could have found to stay in. The whole family was wonderful. We got to enjoy meeting other guests over a delicious breakfast and had great conversations with the guests and the family who owns Zion Springs. The accommodations felt just like home. Everything was clean, neat, and we had everything we needed. Everyone was exceptionally friendly. We were given many suggestions on what to do during the days we were in VA by Chris and her husband. I could not say one bad thing about this place and would definitely return if I ever find myself back in the area!

Room Tip: Any room would be great. You will be in the middle of the great outdoors surrounded by lots of land...

My husband and I recently stayed at Zion Springs for one night and could not have been more pleased. Chris, the owner, was most gracious and offered restaurant suggestions for dinner. Our room was spacious, very clean, and inviting. It had all the amenities of home and we were quite comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and good too. If in the area again, Zion Springs would definitely be on the overnight itinerary.

Room Tip: The Robert E. Lee is like a small apartment. One bedroom, one bath, living area and a small kitchen...

My boyfriend and I biked on the W&OD trail to Zion Springs. The property is beautiful and the family couldn't have been more accommodating and welcoming, they made us feel right at home. Since we had biked in, the family offered us a ride to and from Magnolias- a restaurant in downtown Purcellville. I loved the little snacks and toiletries that they provide in your rooms, along with a nice selection of DVDs and popcorn. They have a very nice common area with a Keurig coffee/tea maker for you at all times. The rooms are in excellent condition, very new and very clean and the breakfast was beyond delicious! Zion Springs is by far the best bed and breakfast I have ever experienced and would highly recommend it to everyone! I can't wait to return shortly.

Room Tip: Jefferson Davis Suite has its own AC/heating unit in the room. I assume the others are shared.

My teenage son traveled the 45 mile length of the Washington and Old Dominion bike path and arrived at the lovely Zion Springs Inn for an overnight stay. We were greeted with warm hospitality and an amazing suite in this bed and breakfast gem. The decor, exceptional amenities, and personal attention all were simply wonderful.

We reserved this B&B for our daughters wedding - and it was PERFECT! We had the place for the entire weekend - Friday - Sunday, which allowed us to hold the rehearsal/ dinner onsite/ with a follow-up bonfire for the young adults. The grooms family from out of town were able to stay on site. Then the day of the wedding we were able to decorate any way we wanted to, with tons of assistance from the very friendly owners, Chris and Jon..they participated in the entire event, helping set up chairs/ tables/ schlepping stuff, assisting with the reception, etc, etc....They truly made sure we enjoyed our big day! The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. The gourmet breakfasts were to die for...and the scenery and landscaping breathtakingly beautiful. Absolutely perfect !

Room Tip: 2 rooms on ground level, 2 rooms up a flight of stairs.

We have stayed in five B&Bs in this area and Zion Springs has been one of our top two. The breakfasts were phenomenal - - gourmet-quality food prepared using home-grown herbs, plus the variety of exquisite dishes served. Chris and Jon were extremely welcoming and gracious. The Lincoln suite was so comfortable, well-appointed, very clean, and afforded gorgeous views of the rear gardens and fields. We particularly enjoyed the later noon check-out time as it gave us a very relaxed last morning in our room. Another particular pleasure was being able to bike right out of the property. The proximity of many wineries and charming towns and villages (e.g., Waterford) made for interesting ways to spend a few days in western Loudoun County. Although this is a family home, the guest rooms are separated from the main house by an enclosed breezeway, and accommodations are made by the hosts to ensure guests' privacy.

Room Tip: The B&B has two suites upstairs and two downstairs in a dedicated B&B wing of the property...
