I recently visited the Boycott arms for lunch with a friend. It was the first time i had visited since the new ownership and the food was outstanding. Not only was it super tasty, the food and the plates were both piping hot! The portions were great too, so big I unfortunately couldn't eat it all!
Service was very attentive, the lady on the day was constantly asking us if we were okay without it being too much.
Aside from the amazing food, the surrounding countryside area is lovely the only thing that really let's the boycott down is its tired decor. The skirting board was broken as were the light fittings and the upholstery was in dire need of replacement, with a bit of a makeover it could be really lovely but apart from that I wouldn't hesitate to return.
