“Disapointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

Very disapointed. Use to vist this place often in the past before we moved and it wwas great.
Things have taken a turn for the worst for sure. waitress took our order and we never saw her again. A watress different brought our food out and we never saw her again. my food was awful so the very small portion was a blessing. My wife also got a very small serving , but said it was ok at best. She ordered liver and onuons. Ok liver is about the cheapest cost of any food for them to serve. My wife got one slice about 1/8" thick at best. we both ran out of tea and did not see any one to ask for more. Did not get a ticket for food so had to stand at checkout until some one finally came. Said we never got ticket so she pull it up and printed it. Here you go it is $23.00 and change is that a deal or what? (2) 8.00 meals & (2) glasses of tea.must fall in the or what area some where considering the quality and service, but I bit my tounge paid and left.

“ENOUGH ISSUES FOR A DAILY NEWSPAPER FOR DECADES”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon, near 1 PM. "Service" was disorganized at best. Food was not too bad, just the "sides" were canned. Pork Chops came out highly peppered, but at least it's black pepper, and not worse. Pricey but edible. Fried chicken was burnt but still edible. Took quite a while to get menu's and silverware. One server spilled our coffee. Other guests came & went while we waited to have our order taken, then took far too long for the order to arrive. We tried to partly pay with a proprietary gift card issued by the restaurant, but were not allowed to do so. Finally paid with the gift card and cash. This place has issues. I really hope it mproves.

“Homey restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Food was cooked just right and very down to earth. For example the greens were cooked done, not half raw like a lot of other restaurants. I took my leftovers home and they were even better the next day than they were the day before. Not for people who want fine dining.

“Poor service and cold food.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

The waitresses forget about and do not check on the table. Had to ask for refills and our order was wrong with cold Mac and cheese (did not order Mac and cheese). The chicken sandwich was basically a cold chicken tender on a bun. The waitresses ask you to seat yourself then we were berated by locals because we took their spot. Not a do over....
