We accidentally discovered the Silver Diner several years ago, and were delighted to return. It was a bit early on a Friday evening, and our wait was able to take extra time to deal with food allergies and suggestions for our dinner. It's a diner atmosphere, and we like that for a casual meal. I had a lemony-sauced chicken breast with rice and edamame, and a lovely small salad on the side that was all really tasty - and advertised at only 600 calories! Hadn't been looking for low-cal food, but it sounded good, and I was really glad I ordered it. My husband had eggs Benedict, and was delighted with its flavor and presentation. We'll definitely go back when we're in Richmond again.
