I have been wanting to try El Tio since I move to the area 3 years ago. A friend told me not to because it wasn't very good. She was no wrong! Some of the best Tex-Mex I have tasted since I left Texas. Went on Saturday night about 5:30 p.m. Really speedy service. Table was bit small for a foursome. The margaritas (happy hour every day 3 to 7) were good. Got the queso for step daughter -- she loved it. The chips are thin and crisp. The salsa looks fresh a little kick with the cilantro (for my Virginia born step kids). I got the fajitas -- wish they had grated cheese with them only complaint. Husband got burrito, step son enchiladas and step daughter quesadillas. Wish we had saved room for soppapias! Will definitely go back! Dinner for 4 with two margaritas, ice tea and a soda (no Dr. Pepper -- step son disappointed), queso and 4 entrees came to $75.
