I've eaten at a lot if restaurants in my 48 years, especially when traveling for work every week for close to five years. Never, have I ever, met a staff member as nice and friendly and energetic as Payton. Her enthusiasm will win you over once you realize it is 200% genuine. She's a gem and I will be back and request for her only. Thanks, Payton for making the visit that much more special!
The food was good. Very tender and succulent steak I had. Fresh greens in the salad and the blue crab soup was surprisingly full of delicious bits of the lumpy goodness.
The 2011 Franciscan Chardonnay was simply delightful (Their wines can be had at half price once you buy a bottle at menu price with dinner and the prices are more than competitive. Trust me, I checked)
The atmosphere, also, was surprising in that it is well-appointed with beautiful hardwoods abound, higher ceilings than you can imagine, and a barroom with great brick walls. Not what I expected from a building that is mostly vertical vinyl siding on the exterior. Didn't get a chance to see the other TWO dining rooms but the main one alone is pretty massive so you won't have to worry about claustrophobia.
See you again soon and thanks so much or the great hospitality!
