Being a discount hotel, luxury should not be expected, so it's no surprise that this is a basic hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for local food. Rooms were clean, as was the rest of the hotel. We used the Super 8 as a starting point for a motorcycle ride down Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway - great location. They provided rags to wipe down bikes in the morning and had a small, but decent breakfast to get the day started. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
