Our stay in this historic home was totally fabulous. The innkeeper, Clyde, was most gracious and a good breakfast cook too! There are several private rooms to choose from which you can easily view on their website. The home sits right in the heart of Franklin, VA which was a lumber/paper mill town. The mill closed recently but the town still thrives without the horrible chemical ordor created by production. Within a few minutes there are tons of drives in farm country or in a little over an hour you can be in historic Williamsburg (via a ferry) or on the beach in eastern Virginia. But this is a place where one could simply spend the entire weekend just decomposing and enjoying the grounds and welcoming atmosphere of the house. There are numerous B&B in the Williamsburg, Richmond area but skip them and come to quiet Wyndie Crest and experience the best!!!!
