“Great little restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Benjamin's has just about everything you can imagine! The oyster Po'boy is great (according to my husband). I love their burgers! They cook up some really great grub on the week-ends. If you want to go in on Friday or Saturday nights, make a reservation. They don't have a lot of seating and it can get cramped while waiting for a table.

“Has been better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

Went to dinner at Benjamin's, was our first visit in a couple of years. I remembered the food as being very good, with some very creative chef's specialties, but the food this time was no better than average.

“Fun during the summer for drinks”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

I have eaten at Benjamin’s several times and have been unimpressed with the food. The apps are ok and they have a few drink specials.
During the summer the back deck opens up and they have live music which is nice to see in Lynchburg/ Forest.
My service was ok and the wait staff is friendly.
Steaks have not been cooked correctly the last couple times I have been there and it seems a bit overpriced.
The fish was blank as well.
It the food improves I would come to this place more often...

“Avoid...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012 via mobile

Ate at Benjamin's on a Sunday. Not impressed. Food was lousy as was the selection of food on the menu. Service was slow and the food was overpriced. Hope it is better at dinner than it is for brunch.

“Best steak ever!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2012

If you have not had the Ribeye at Benjamin's you are missing out. The steaks here are always seasoned, aged and cooked to perfection. My wife always has the Filet of Mignon and I usually order the Ribeye. However they always have a special board that reminds me of Top Chef on the Food Network. If you are new to the area or just passing through put this place on the top of places to eat.
