We stumbled across this resturant by accident whilst we were staying in the area. We were a bit dubious at 1st, but soon changed our minds, although the resturant is not run by Italians, the Yorkshire staff were very friendly, chatty and sat down at the end of our meal with us giving us a little history of the resturant.
The portions were huge, even for us as big eaters!. Garlic Mushrooms were lovely and for a main we had filet steak (this is the biggest peice of filet I have ever had) cooked to perfection and as we requested.
The only thing I would say is that although the owner has tried to make it modern and contempory, a few of the little touches were missing, candles, nice placemats etc and maybe seating guests to the table rather than letting them choose their own ( at the time we were the 1st customers in and the following 2 tables came and sat in front and behind us, we would of preferred them to have been sat a little further apart).
Thank you for a fab meal. Sorry the owner had to leave early due to his sore eyes!
