We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights but spent every day in DC. We initially thought we would use the hotel shuttle, but found out that driving into the city was easier than everyone says it is. The one day we used the subway to get in and out of DC cost us $32.00 - so it was actually cheaper for us to drive in and pay $20 for parking... which we found without difficulty. The hotel is NOT a 5 star luxury hotel... if that is what you are expecting you need to stay at a 5 star hotel. This is a typical Comfort Inn and was perfectly fine. We were a little uneasy when we arrived at our guest room door for the first time and the door # was taped on... but, all else was fine. I can only assume that a new door # is on order because we had no other complaints during our stay. Breakfast is fine - not the best free breakfast I've had, but there's enough to get by. The hotel is located near a number of restaurants and grocery stores. Our commute into the city was about 15-20 minutes. I would recommend this hotel if you spend most of your time out of your hotel sightseeing and just need somewhere safe and comfortable to sleep at night.
