This is probably the best Indian restaurant in Northern Virgina. The food is north Indian and the quality is excellent. The lunch buffet is a bargain and has a lot of food variety. The owners are two brothers and they are very friendly.

This is a popular restaurant but not very noticeable from the street. Don't be fooled by the sort of ho-hum outside. The food is great. I love the sampler platters (both veggie and meat options). The service is very good and the dining room is nicely decorated.

Yes, truly. We visited this place at least thrice in the last 3 years to get varied experience of food and service here. Guess why, we saw all of those beautifully mounted Jagat and other awards that this restaurant has received for so many years...but wait.. we forgot to see something... what was the last date of the awards... Well, we did not quite look at it until the last time and that was our mistake.
May be this restaurant had a great rating for several years in the past and the food and service would have been excellent, but at least for the previous 4 years we have not seen that kind of quality either in food or service. So may be this place is run by new owner and new staff. One possibility. Otherwise where did that quality disappear ..1?
