“Authentic and Welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

In the foyer there is comfortable seating including an elegant swing with pillows, and as we were guided to our reserved table, a lovely woman dressed in Indian garb welcomed us warmly. The atmosphere is colorful and lavish, the food authentic, and the service is gracious and steady. My son, who loves Indian food, was very pleased with his 22 birthday dinner, and his girlfriend who has traveled extensively in India said the Masala brought her right back to her meals in New Dehli.

“Excellent Indian cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Want to taste Indian food but don't know where to go or how to choose? Then your best option is to sample a good buffet at Jaipur Royal Indian Cuisine in Fairfax, Virginia. That way you'll experience a broad range of flavours and can choose what dishes really satisfy your taste. The service is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful.

“Weekend Buffet Has Plenty of Vegetarian Options”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

NoVa has plenty of Indian buffet options, and most are rather indistinguishable from each other -- offering varying qualities of the standard fare.

This Indian restaurant is on the first floor of a suburban office building, but its interior decor is almost over-the-top South Asian. Jaipur, despite its out of the way location, sets itself apart by presenting a larger-than-normal selection of vegetarian options on the buffet. We also enjoyed the gulab jamun (although the other dessert -- some kind of custard with canned fruit cocktail -- looked really strange and unappetizing).

“Booty”

As an Indian person I do not consider this to be Indian food. If youre thirsty go here to wash down the nasty taste.

“Excellent food, well managed restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

I've tried most of the Indian restaurants in the area and just found out about this one. It is my new favorite. The food was very good and tasted authentic, the wait staff and management were extremely polite and helpful, and prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be going back.
