“Consistently good food, limited seating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

If you can drop into this small cafe ahead of the weekend lunch rush, you may luck into one of their three booths (one of which is almost always occupied by a manager working on a laptop). If not, you'll be stuck with very non-private seating arrangements.

Their salads (notably Taco Salad and Fiesta Salad) are very decent and consistent, and reasonably priced.

“A Go To Locals Favorite”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

This is actually 3.5 Stars.
I usually meet friends here for lunch or happy hour. We enjoy sitting outside in the converted patio. It gives you some elbow room which you don't get in the dining room. The food is above average. I usually keep it simple with cheese enchilada's. It's a hearty and tasty dish and satisfies. I also really like the chicken tortilla soup. The fish tacos used to be my favorite but something has changed about them but I don't know what. Overall, you can't go wrong at the Coyote Grille. Service is above average, it has a fun vibe, good food, and it's always rockin.

“Great Local Mexican Grille”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Serve perhaps the best fresh salsa I've ever had. Grilled fish and fish tacos are my favorites. Also love the light but very tasty chicken tortilla soup.

“Great Food, Atmosphere, and price deals”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

The Coyote Grille's "Cheers"-like atmosphere makes one feel right at home whether a family with children, a party, or a couple on date night. Monday special dinner for 2 for $35 including 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 deserts and a bottle of wine. Juan's Monday night specials, as well as the regular menu items are always creative. Food is a Tex-Mex variety- my favorites are the Red Pepper Soup and Chicken Diablo, with a sauce reminiscent of the Soup. Frankly I like everything I have tried. We have been eating there since it opened and never tire of its food. Waitstaff is always friendly and efficient and you will always be welcomed with a smile, a bowl of homemade chips and salsa. Stop in next time you are in Fairfax City, or reduce your commuting stress with dinner out with dinner out while traffic dies ddown. You won't regret it.
