“One of many average to good eat choices in Fairfax”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012

Went to mid-week lunch with a long time running buddy. Place largely empty at noon so was seated quickly. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Good selection of lunch items, appetizers, drinks and even desserts. I had an unimpressive Reuben sandwich with fries while my companion had the chicken souvlaki. My Reuben was skimpy on the kraut and virtually without the needed Russian/1000 Island dressing. Uninspired! He noted there was insufficient yogurt sauce ( a requirement for a good souvlaki). No refills were offered on our ice teas and the irritating background music (hip-hopesque) was enough for us to hustle up and out. Ain't going back.

“Good place for Sunday brunch with family and friends”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2012 via mobile

Good food quality. Eggs, omelettes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, pasta, etc Pricing matches offerings and quality. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Good place for kids. Adults can chat, kids can have a good time without feeling like if they get a little loud they are disturbing others. Service is friendly. Maybe a tad slow, but it allows for a leisurely meal fit for Sunday brunches.

“Very good meal!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2011

Just had a very good early Sunday dinner at a moderate price - London broil medium rare with salad and veggies for $13.95. The salad and veggies were average, but the London broil with mushroom sauce was very, very tasty for the price. Friends enjoyed their meals as well - seafood sampler, Chicken Marsala, and another chicken dish. Dining at 4 pm on Sunday afternoon, we got good service and separate checks very promptly after dishes were cleared. This was my first time there, so was very pleased. Read other reviews about young bar scene at night so it may be different in the evening. We had a very pleasant enjoyable meal, and I would certainly return.

“Consistently very good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2011

I've been going to Skidoos for 30 years and find it a very good place and value. The prime rib is a specialty and outstanding and comes with a vegetable, salad, and bread. Their choices of seafood vary daily and are excellent from lobster to salmon, tilapia, sea bass, crab cakes, etc.
Their lunches are also very good from the hamburger to the steak salads, and chicken wrap with feta cheese. It's very good and I've never had a bad meal there.
