“Gringo's Beware”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

So I had not been here for a while but a friend said let's try it for lunch as we drove by. It was 1:30 on Sunday. So she orders the chicken special advertised in the window. The waitress says it's only M-F. The sign does not say that. So I order the carne asada. The menu lists two prices lunch and dinner. So the food is OK but they charge us the dinner price for each entre. It's lunchtime and they add $1.00 for "white" What's that? We are not of Spanish heritage.
Seems like a rip off- overcharged- unappealing- will not go back
A lot of dead animal heads on the wall

“Great Place For Rotisserie Chicken”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Although some items on the menu can be "hit and miss", La Choza hits the cover off the ball with their lunch time Rotisserie Chicken specials. When you arrive, chips and red sauce are served with your drink. Make sure to ask for the green sauce as well; it's great stuff. The chicken is served with traditional rice and beans and is very filling. I do agree with the other reviewer that the interior has become a little run down. They need to freshen things up.
