“A tucked away cinemaplex with great independent movies”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

Not always super packed. Matinee deals always good. Plays hits sometimes, but love the indie films. Tickets are not pricey. If you enjoy popcorn, get the bucket (free refills). Very much a small neighborhood theater ... just with multiple screens. Enjoy.

“Funky and fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This neighborhood theatre has a fun and funky vibe and staff jump in to offer movie goers extra treats from time to time. For example, when showing Julie, Julia, staff donned French chef coats and served croissants and chocolate to theatergoers. Sometimes the manage will sing out cool announcements before the movie starts. Food offerings go beyond the usual popcorn and soft drinks to include sandwhiches, cheese plates, and coffee. Plently of parking, movie reviews posted in the lobby, and interesting films you might not find in first-run theatres all add up to a fun and funky experience.

“Cool concessions, upgraded theater”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

They have recently put a lot of money into upgrades for the theater and it definitely helps. They offer a wide variety of concessions, many of which you won't find at most move theaters. They tend to show mostly artsy films, but will occasionally get a blockbuster (Batman, Avengers), never kids movies. For drawbacks, it's always really crowded on the weekend, and parking close enough can be challenging with the buffet right next door.

“Extra Popcorn & Personal Reviews”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Every once in a while, the owner will wander through the theater and offer extra popcorn from the larges bucket he's carrying and ask the audience which films he should order from the coming attractions. The prices for the films and food here are better than some--esp when compared to the new Angelika. The only problem is that some of the chairs need to be fixed/replaced. I preferto go here to support local businesses.
