We stayed here for 2 nights and we LOVED it. Great modern hotel, rooms were wonderful and clean, bathroom was beautiful, bed extremely comfortable. There is a kitchenette, couch and a TV in the room. Hotel lobby was clean and the breakfast was delicious. There is a pool table near the bar so we ended up getting some drinks and playing pool. It was an overall great experience with wonderful customer service. There are also plenty of high end stores around if you'd like to do some shopping, and some great little cafes. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Hyatt House for 18 days. The staff got to know my name and was friendly and accommodating in every way.

They serve a hot, fresh breakfast every morning and have a small bar with above average food at average prices in the evening. There is also a small area to purchase drinks/frozen food/snacks near the concierge that I made use of on a few occasions.

The Mosaic district, where this Hyatt house is located is part of the up and coming Merrifield area of NoVa. There a bunch of really good spots in the district, including a Target for essentials and a MOMs for reasonably priced grocery items. I also found two restaurants across the street that I really enjoyed, Trio and Open Road. Trio is higher end but their happy hour is reasonably price and amazing. Open Road is better than average; I mostly went for some live music the draft selection. If you want to stay in the Mosaic, I would recommend Matchbox or Four Sisters, both very good as well.

Overall, I highly recommend this Hyatt House is you're staying in the NoVa area. The up and coming area and price make it a superior value.

We loved staying at this hotel and had absolutely no complaints.

The pros:

Excellent staff, convenient location, modern design, cool artwork, large room, amazingly comfortable pillows, kitchen suite with full sized fridge and accessories, lots of cable selections, upscale stores right out the front door, free parking in new, clean covered garage.

Details:

1. My husband thought the shower was better than ours, which is saying a lot, since I think our shower is amazing. The water is powerful, the size is large and easy to get in and out of, and the shower head is high on the wall. These are important features for tall people.

2. As I am all about the breakfast, I give the free breakfast offered by the hotel my highest recommendation. There were eggs, sausage, waffles, country potatoes, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, etc. Pretty much if the food belonged in the breakfast category, it was there and delicious. The dining room is also large and had big windows with lots of great light.

3. This hotel did a pretty amazing energy saving thing that I have never seen before. In order to power your room, you had to insert your room key into a slot right inside the door. I thought this was very clever, as I am sure that many guests leave for the day with all of the lights and a/c cranked up. Kudos for this cool idea!

I am sad that we didn't stay here for our entire trip. The hotel was a great bargain and not so far from the city that you couldn't get back and forth on the weekends in a hurry. I loved everything about it!

Room Tip: Our side of the hotel faced mall construction. We stayed on the weekend so did not experience any n...

We have stayed at this hotel twice in the last year while visiting our son. It is located in a developing area that has some nice shops and more restaurants opening all the time. It is a great value as well, at least on the weekends. Although we did not really use it, there is a small kitchenette that you could use for making lunches or even dinner as there are enough supplies to do so (while there is a cooktop, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, there is no oven). Some cookware and dishes, etc. The beds are very comfortable and the room is clean and spacious. Breakfast (included) in the morning is better than most, including cooked to order omelets. Metro stop is walkable, although it might take 10-15 minutes. Free parking in the garage.

Glass Alley address does not work with most GPS, I think you need to use a Lee Highway address. Call the hotel for info.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in February, 2014. It is conveniently located in the middle of a new upscale shopping area with plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The decor was modern and comfortable. A full hot breakfast is offered with many options. Plenty of free parking available close by. We came here because we have enjoyed the Hyatt House in Redmond, WA and will look for Hyatt Houses in other locations as we travel.

Room Tip: The King Suites are great.

Booked a quick two night stay and found a cheap $84 room for a King-Suite. A terrific value.

The room was spacious with a comfortable king bed. It had a kitchen with a full fridge and plates and, well, too bad I wasn't staying longer. The shower was a little TOO powerful but it was a shower, not a tub/shower. Felt modern.

Add to that free higher speed wireless internet, free parking across the quiet "street", free breakfast (with eggs to order!), DirecTV, and well you get a picture of a satisfied customer. They have a market in the hotel too and a basic fitness center (and pool -- if only I had known).

It's a little more self-service hotel, but staff was friendly and quick. Location is great in the new Mosiac area. It'll only get better as things continue to open.

Overall, very satisfied with this stay and would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor.

I didn't realize this was a Hyatt House when I made the reservation. I had stayed at several Hyatt Place properties and found them cookie-cutter in the extreme. It looks like the Houses are upscale compared to Places.

This property is a little hard to find, but is located on Lee Highway. The entrance/parking are hidden from the highway and is within a town center concept.

Very helpful front desk staff, quiet, tastefully decorated rooms, good internet and a delicous breakfast buffet are all partbof the package. You are surrounded nt shops and restaurants and the metro station is within walking. They have a shuttle van but we didn't inquire about what it offers.
