After a stay of 75+ days the place was a good balance of quality, value, and relative cost.
Pros: a pretty decent balance of having a close-in to DC location for an extended stay and keeping a relatively workable rate; great more upscale dining down the street at Mosaic District; for standard but good fare try the chinese and dominion deli places right down the way at Yorktown Center; front desk staff were friendly and helpful when needed, maids too
Cons: double park your car so you don't get dings - the lot fills up with contractor trucks and vehicles and these guys aren't to concerned about their doors hitting your car; the contractors - people up and rambling around at 5 or 6 AM yup; getting back from jobs at midnight and calling their wives while walking the corridors yup; not a complete showstopper as the noise between rooms is actually pretty soundproofed - it's just the stuff outside the door/window that comes right in; we stayed here because we thought it would be great to have a place to cook meals - the two burners worked but had to constantly be rigged to do so and counter space to work with is pretty much zero = if you plan on cooking much much more than mac and cheese you have too high expectations
Again - the place serves it's purpose, but leisure and luxury it sure is not.
