“Superb Vietnamese food in the heart of Fairfax City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

We have dined at East Wind several times in the past few months. The superb service, beautiful decor and excellent food never vary. The attentive friendly servers provide A+++ service without hovering. The hot, fresh, tasty food is beautifully presented and never disappoints.
This is our "go to" restaurant. We chose dining here in honor of our 40th anniversary because no other local restaurant offers this consistent level of quality, flavor and service.

“Great atmosphere and food”

The owner is really nice and very involved in the business. He is willing to accommodate whatever you may need or want. Food is excellent, especially shaky beef.

“Wonderful Folks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

The food is good and the prices reasonable, but what i tend to really be drawn to is a restaurant that treats you right. These folks are wonderful, friendly, accommodating, etc. It makes you feel good to support a local restaurant like this.

“A great Vietnamese restaurant in Old Fairfax”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

My only regret is that I did not know that East Wind existed until two months ago. The food is very good and the service is commendable. The owner is very accommodating to menu suggestions and will help those who are undecided as to select from the large choices.

“Healthy and delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

We ate at the East Wind Vietnamese Restaurant in Fairfax last year and have tried several other Vietnamese restaurants since. The problem was that they were not as satisfying. At East Wind my husband tried the Beef Pho soup and I tried the Seafood Stir-Fry after a plate fresh noodle garden rolls. The soup was loaded with rice noodles, garnishes and slices of beef, but it was the broth that made it so good. The Seafood Stir Fry was full of nicely cooked shrimp, scallops and squid along with broccoli, carrots, snowpeas. The freshness of the food makes a big difference. The restaurant was not packed, but for us that was a nice change from the last Vietnamese restaurant where the packed and noisy tables left us feeling rushed. It's definitely a place where we will be returning to try another dish on their menu.
