“Quality Food in a Fast Food Setting”

good fresh food innovatively presented and a good menu for all tastes. $8 for a wrap combo, but worth it. fast ordering at the counter, friendly staff, and wquick turnaround. concept like panera, but faster and fresher food. the location of the one in fairfax is a little odd -- on a corner where driving in and parking is tricky, but a nice place and good food.

“A true Fairfax Gem minus full parking (not their fault)”

I have to say the one complaint: you can't omit onions which make me gag but otherwise I thought the service here was excellent, as the employees are extremely cool. However, I think the prices are a little high for what you get--portions are small more lunch sized for certain. Sampled the spinach roll-ups with grilled chicken added to it and a side of pasta salad, and while both were pretty good, I don't think they merited being almost $10 (with a water cup). Very similar to Panera without the bakery friendly staff and the freshest fruit salad I've ever had in DC!
Save room for cookies, they are homemade.

“Zoes Kitchen - Fresh salads and pita bread sandwiches”

Zoes is a great addition to Fairfax for lunch and casual dinner. I've eaten there several times for lunch and the atmosphere is casual and open and attracting more and more of a lunch business. I usually have the 1/2 sandwich and salad or soup and find that the salads are very good and the tuna or turkey 1/2 sandwich are very fresh and plenty for lunch.
I highly recommend it and consider it equally good to Panera Bread down the street.
