My knowledge regarding firearms is relatively limited, yet my wife and I enjoyed our trip to this museum quite a bit. One doesn't need to be familiar with every make and model to appreciate the craftsmanship that went into making many of the weapons in the collection. The museum also does a great job of highlighting the historical and cultural significance of guns in the United States, both through featuring guns from different historical periods and those used in different motion pictures or owned by different prominent figures. My favorite part of the museum though was the exhibit of Theodore Roosevelt's Library with items on loan from Sagamore Hill. Also, the gift store has great prices!
