“Quaint with a ton of potential”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Small, friendly winery.
Tucked away on a windy dirt road, this converted house has a lot of potential as the views and grounds have space to spread out. There is a small seating area inside for inclimate weather.

Wines were average, but their white blend was not enjoyable, while their Traminette was definitely noteworthy.

I think we the winery/tasting room needs a 'make-over' as it has potential, but some walls need to be knocked down to make it more open. As such, we walked into the entrance and at first thought we had walked into someone's home.

Tasting room: Room for 4 at the bar (cozy)
Grounds: Room to spread out. Two small decks.
Food: Didn't notice
Bathroom: One-person directly off the tasting area
Wines: Enjoyable.
Service: Very friendly. Owner is an Air Force veteran

“Very Enjoyable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

Definitely a place to stop for good wines and nice owners. Williard is a wonderful host and wines are very good. The 2009 Mariage Reserve is great. Views of the mountains are amazing.

“WIne and a 180 degree view of the Valley. AND met the owners”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

Our last stop of the day. Sat on the deck overlooking this amazing valley view. We were served 6 wines ( of our choice)and even though it was approaching the so called closing of 6:00 pm we were encouraged to stay as long as we likes. Met the owners and they were very infomative and friendly. They have about 5-6 acres of vines you will see as you turn into the drive. If you buy a bottle you get to keep the glass with the etched wolf. Tnen we noticed as we drove out the front of the winery has a view of the other 180 degrees of the valley. Beautiful and friendly place. We did buy some wine. Good prices.

“Beautiful Setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

You have to look a bit for Wolf Gap, but you'll be richly rewarded. We stopped for a tasting and since we were drooling over the views, the staff member suggested that we take our tasting on the deck. What a treat! The views were wonderful, as were the wines. We liked everything we tasted, and were really taken with the Chambourcin Bleu. Luckily, they had sufficient quantities for us to cart a few bottles back to suburbia. Wolf Gap is well worth the drive and the effort to locate (look for the small signs). Enjoy!

“Very pretty, good wine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Really liked this winery and the proprietor. The tasking room was custom built, and although new, was quite quaint. It had a wrap around deck with nice outdoor seating and a great view. We went in November so not much going on, but would love to return during the summer.
