I hadn't been to this chain for several years. We were running errands and came in on a whim.
The restaurant was very empty and the hostess was not at the greeting podium. We waited a few minutes and finally she arrived to seat us.
After being seated, we waited several more minutes before our server brought water and took a drink order.
We placed our orders, including something from the kids' menu for our 4 year old. We enjoyed the warm bread and olive oil and awaited our orders.
And waited some more...
After 10 minutes or so, I heard the chef call our order in. The place was so empty that we could very clearly hear that it was our order.
The food that arrived was fine - exactly what we ordered. I had ordered the warm spinach salad with shrimp. The salad came with cloves of roasted garlic. I'm not sure if they were intended to be just a garnish, but I ate two of them before I realized they were in there.
I'd like to think we caught this restaurant on an off-day because many TA posters give it positive reviews; however, I probably won't return for a while due to the very slow service
