“A coffee oasis in Damascus”

Great coffee, great atmosphere, good wifi connection, a little pricey, but worth it! Try the Funky Monkey!

“Excellent coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

You can usually tell a quality coffee house apart from a place that sells coffee by the types of house coffee's offered and the method of dispensing. If you see a Bunn pot sitting on a burner, they sell coffee. If it's dispensed from a thermal carrafe and identify the type(s) of coffee by origin or blend, then you've found a quality coffee house. MoJoe's is a quality coffee house.

We visited both mornings we were in Damascus and I got a large coffee each time. The first was a Tanzanian Peaberry and the second morning I got the Sumatra Mandheling. Both were freshly brewed and used freshly roasted beans. My wife got a caramel mocha and it was very good. The staff was friendly and moved quickly and the breakfast menu and pastries looked delicious. We will definitely have to check this out in more detail the next time we're in town.

Just because you're deep in the mountains of Virginia doesn't mean you have to sacrifice on your cup of joe. Thank you MoJoe's!

Great place to spend time with a delicious cup of cappuccino and bagel after a trip to Grayson Highlands State Park. The staff were friendly, the chairs comfortable, and the prices reasonable. Will definitely return on our next trip to Damascus.

“Limited”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Althought they can and do serve made to order breakfast food, their facilities (kitchen & utensils) are limited. Hard to keep up with orders when you are preparing pancakes and or eggs in a pan on 1 single residential stove. be prepared to wait, and wait and wait. Other than that it a cute little establishment.
