“Some of the best BBQ in the Roanoke area.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

We love this place. It's a great little restaurant with the best BBQ around. The portions are also a great size, especially for the price (and the dip for the onion straws...awesome!) I don't think we've ever had a bad experience here. Everyone on staff is also extremely nice and helpful.

“Good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

Here's the basics:
-good bbq
-catered our wedding a few years ago. Did a great job and would highly recommend getting them to do a pig roast for your next event.
-in-restaurant service can be hit or miss

“Good Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

Locally owned and managed, this modern and clean restaurant at the end-cap of a newer Kroger center serves its barbeque with justifiable pride. It's not the best, or worth going out of your way for, but if you are staying overnight as we were, it is an excellent option. If someone in your party is not in the mood for barbeque, there are other options on the menu. If no one wants barbeque, you almost certainly could get better variety and value elsewhere nearby. The portions were large and tasty. We probably would choose to return if nearby at mealtime again.

“Great eatery!”

This was my kind of place....barbecue and brisket, cornbread and sweet tea! Can't wait to try it again!

“Good Caribbean Jerk BBQ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

That is a rather unique offering and I was glad I tried it. It was well-marinated and did not need a sauce. I tried their tomato-based sauce and, while it was ok, it really does not measure up to the great sauces in East Tennessee and Texas. Still, it is worth stopping here to try the Jerk BBQ for something different. The hushpuppies and baked beans were good, as was their cobbler. Service was very good and the restaurant appeared to be very clean and well-kept.
