Simply put, you will not find a diner with fresh, well prepared, locally procured food anywhere. We stop here for lunch on every trip between Virginia and Philly which is quite often. Chef Ype has it right.

Dirty, sticky juke box keys, shakers and other on table accouterments! Breakfast tasted ok for the most part, but eggs not sufficiently cooked. Initially seated our party of four in a small booth which was best for two adults. Had to ask to be moved to one of several open larger booths. Overpriced for diner experience. Will not be returning, although we've been Silver Diner customers almost 17 years.

The flat iron steak on their new, fresh, organic menu was very terrific!!! Local meat, not frozen, etc. My wife and I love the new menu. Silver Diner is different from other places in variety and quality. Our server, Juan, was very professional, friendly and attentive. Will be back for the steak!!!!

My wife and I visit this particular Silver Diner about once a quarter and we generally have breakfast in the middle of the day. Without fail she has Eggs Benedict and a Chocolate Shake and I generally have a Belgian Waffle with one or two eggs over easy. These meals are typical diner food--tasty, filling and not too expensive. The shakes are always thick with enough left over that they bring you the can it was made in. Thecoffee is fresh and hot. Breakfast at 2:00 PM--a great idea on any day. We will be back.
