“Another beautiful winery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

This part of Virginia is just jam packed with beautiful wineries. This is a working farm in addition to being a lovely winery. Not usually a fan of rose wines, but found one at Stinson that I loved.

“Small yet Impressive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

We like Stinson Vineyards. It is small but that only helps the overall spirit of the place. We liked some of the wines and bought some to take home. They use a concrete barrel for one of their wines, instead of the usual oak or stainless barrels.

It does not have all the fluff of some other wineries,(which is a good thing), but it is definitely worth the stop. It was $5 to taste and we were served approx. seven wines.

“Wonderful Stop on the Wine Trail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2014

This place is simply wonderful. A little gem of a tasting room, pretty and welcoming, if small, and really nice tasting associates that are willing to help and advise, but also willing to give you the time and privacy to discuss each wine as you taste. I don't even much like chardonnay, but theirs is absolutely terrific. The views from the patio are gorgeous and the nearby garden in the summer is really stunning. I've been to about 80 wineries to date and this is one of my very favorites. Highly recommended.

“Another wonderful season touring Stinson Vineyards!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

We love the little jewel that is Stinson Vineyards. To review now after the hectic busy season we would like to report that this year our guests loved Stinson and voted them one of the favorites. It's a small family run winery with an eye for great wines.

This is one of the few wineries in our area that has glassed the winery side so while tasting you can look through and see the barrels and the cement "egg" and ask questions as to what's going on.

The wines are elegant and among our favorites!

“Small, Friendly, Sweeping Views from back patio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Best Views of any winery we've visited so far in Virginia.
Patio overlooks hills of grapes and 8 mountain peaks.
The owners are super friendly and the wine is good.
Romantic spot for a sunset picnic.
