“Great atmosphere. Amazing food and drinks.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2012

We were there in a party of 8-10 people. We ordered mostly from the "Tapas" menu, they also have a more conventional dinner menu with entree, etc.
The food was great with some nice presentation, especially for a tapas setting. They also go the extra mile using few locally grown or made products.
The wine list was not too long and difficult to navigate, but there were different wines from around the world and few local vineyards. One of my friend is a beer drinker and he was pleased with the selection of american crafted beers.
After dinner we had few cocktails and some unique one, the ladies loved the Ginger Martini, I noticed that the bartender was squeezing to order fresh lemons, limes and oranges....no water down drinks with off the shelf juice.
The staff was very nice, professional but friendly, and they were very patient with us, especially toward the end it was taking us a lot of time to make up our mind on what drink to order next.
The atmoshere is great, I used to travel a lot, and this please has the feeling of of a downtown bar in a metropolitan location, but has a beautiful backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a very friendly down the earth staff.
I appears to me that most of the customers were regulars, since they were created by name or with a warm handshake.
What it really made the difference, the owner come to our table and introduce himself, I can't remember the name, but it was a nice touch.
It looks like they really work hard to make you feel at home and keep going back.
Well they really made it happen, I will definitely go back.

“Yummy brunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2012

Went there for brunch and had very nice experience. The menu was diverse and had items that you wouldn't have at home. We all had clean plates at the end. Enjoyed all of our meals. Server was friendly. Would go back.

“Christmas party to remember!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

We hosted an annual private Christmas party in December with approximately 60 guests. Many of our guests were from out of town (Boston, New York, DC, Chicago and Atlanta). It was the perfect venue.. great local produce, wonderful Virginia wines and stellar service! Our guests commented repeatedly that they were most impressed with this gem of an establishment. DaLuca's is always our "go to" place for great food and libations. We're so lucky that it's in our backyard!

“A hiddent gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2011

Part of the shops at Old Trail you will love the bar, the atmosphere, the wine and beer selections, and the food. Began as a tapas restaurant but has now enlarged the menu and the food is excellent. Check out the happy hours and the Wednesday beer and burger night.
