“Under construction - but still gorgeous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

After driving from the Lost World Caverns we saw the sign for Humpback bridge and immediately detoured! The bride is pretty cool and a neat bit of Virginia history. As of Aug. 12th, they were working on erosion issues on the bridge so they had it roped off. They also recently put in the new LOVE sign where we took a great family photo! I highly recommend this brief stop, you can also swim in the river and enjoy a picnic on it's banks.

“Great place for a picnic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Lovely place for a picnic! It has one of the L-O-V-E structures found around the Commonwealth reminding people that "Virginia is for Lovers".

“scenic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Humpback bridge is just that. It is a bridge, it is very unique and a pretty place to walk around and stretch your legs. you can go swimming under/around the bridge during the summer months but there is nothing else there to see or do. My young grandsons love to go there to swim and turn the rocks over to catch crawdads.

“A very unique bridge - not much to do there but look”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

A local landmark, it and is a unique bridge that no longer goes anywhere but across a creek in a park. Would suggest a picnick and a quite time in the woods as there is nothing else except the bridge to see. It is worth the stop.
