“Great variety on lunch buffet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Amelia's has an amazing lunch buffet - much more than just pizza. There are usually at least two Italian dishes (eggplant parm, fetuccini alfredo, lasagna, ziti with meat sauce) in addition to a wide variety of pizzas. Their Philly cheese steak sandwiches are delicious, as are the calzones with dipping sauce. A good sized salad and drink are included and the buffet even has some dessert pastry for those who love to end a meal with something sweet. Servers are friendly and attentive. Not much atmosphere but great food and value!

“Very good Italian in Cambria”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

Amelia's is located in what was once a neighborhood supermarket, but it has established itself as a quality restaurant destination. The parking lot test says a lot and Amelia's is always full.

The pizza and more buffet is usually an eclectic mix of pies and other Italian dishes. The pizza is very good as is the manicotti and lasagna. The garlic knots are also good, but a little larger than I prefer (they tend to have a better consistency at a smaller size).

The menu has some excellent entrée options. My wife and I have never been disappointed. The pizza certainly beats all of the chains and is one of the two best in town. Prices are very good.

“it's ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

based on tripadvisors's recommendations we tried this restaurant. yes the fabric-style house looks like nothing, but the restaurant inside is as usual. the staff is friendly, the customers are coming from the neighborhood etc. the appetizers are great. unfortunately we took calzone and may be be that this is not the hot topic in this restaurants .... we are not really lucky with this kind of personal variation of classical meal.

“Great Neighborhood place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

The outside may not be the most appealing place but once inside you will forget about the outside.A great neighborhood Italian restaurant. Prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. The BEST pizza around. Puts the national chains to shame. I loved the sampler dish(salad, bread, spaghetti, chicken parmasean, and then I get meat raioli or sausage parmesean). All this for only 10.99. You cant beat it. The staff is very helpful and goes out of their way to make your visit memorable. So if your in the New River Valley make sure you find Amelias. Its a visit you wont forget.

“Really Good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

We had a coupon and wanted to try Amelia's for the first time. The building looks like a dive, (Good Thing). It is friendly and has the neighborhood feel to it. Buffet is small but well stocked with a variety of foods ant they are HOT.It also included a small salad and drink for $8 and change. A real bargain. I like the mom and pop restaurants and this pizza is the best I've had in years! It puts the chains to shame. They got very busy while we were there, so it is obviously a popular place. We will go back soon.
