We stayed in Christiansburg a couple of weeks ago for Radford's graduation and this place was a real treat!
My husband and I stayed in the garden cottage, which is detached from the actual in, but located in the garden. It was gorgeous! It was a small cottage with a sitting area, tv, kitchenette, full bed in the loft, full bathroom complete with a sauna and the best part was the hot tub on the wrap around patio! So cool! Our room was equipped with anything we could possibly need, candies, tea, bottled water, soda, towels etc!
The house itself was stunning, so cool to walk around and discover different rooms and historic architecture. The B&B has a beautiful wrap around porch with rocking chairs. There is a jar in the entrance area with fresh baked cookies, along with everything that you need to prepare a cup of tea. The upstairs hallway had a decanter of sherry set up. The stained glass is beautiful!
Breakfast was delicious, we had fresh bread and fruit and a quiche as the main course. It was a delightful stay, I wish we were able to stay for more that one night! I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone who wants to spend a quiet weekend in south west Virginia!
