The first time we went to the Village Restaurant a couple of years ago was memorable for the fun, nice bartenders that were actually servers filling in for the real bartender who called out sick. We had such a good time talking to the ladies that we ate at the bar, which we never do. We were just in Chincoteague again and went to the Village. My husband asked if Rebecca was there. She was and she was tending bar again! She even remembered us. Naturally, we had dinner at the bar. I had fried oysters which were good. My husband had the seafood platter which was delicious. The rice dish had different herbs in it and was good. We both started with the cream of crab soup - yummy. This is a family owned and operated restuaruant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Village is on the main road so easy to find. The prices were average. We will continue to visit the Village when we are in town.
