My partner and I spent a weekend at this historic location, which is well kept. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The room had pretty curtains and details, although the towels are a nonabsorbent polyester, which was a bit odd. I liked the screened-in porch with hot tea and cookies all day.
I offer a caveat to women travelers who prefer not to be touched by male strangers: If you do not like to be touched on your back, arms, or shoulders, you may want to consider another hotel.
