“If you go to Chincoteague, stay at the Miss Molly Inn!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2011

Had a great weekend! Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Breakfast was gourmet and relaxing. No noise/community issues whatsoever. There is plenty to do around the house: front porch, roof top deck with hammock, screened-in porch (with sitting area, refrigerator, microwave, coffee station, bottled water). A big plus, the inn has an entire room devoted to beach gear! We didnt need to pack the chairs, umbrella, etc - they had it all! In the front door entrance, there is information about the island and things to do - we found ourselves reading the wall to get a better idea of the island activities. The staff was extremely friendly and made sure we had a top-notch stay. Oh, dont pass up the boat ride to the sand bar - that was awesome! We will return! :)

Room Tip: Bay room was perfect!

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend away from DC. We stayed in Miss Molly's room! It was small, but quite cozy. I have to agree with another reviewer who said the air conditioner in the room was a little noisy and that the decor could use a little TLC - but overall, we had a fabulous time. The house is so quiet. The breakfasts were delicious. We were very close to Asseteague beach and had a wonderful time exploring the park. The innkeepers offered great recommendations for things to check out on Chincoteague - even offering to set up reservations for us on tour boats etc. They've got a room full of beach gear (including sunscreen and bug spray which we had totally neglected to bring with us) and even have bikes available to be borrowed. We felt totally taken care of and relaxed.

We had a great time at Miss Molly's when we went to Chincoteague Island! The house is beautiful and they have a wonderful breakfast and they will do everything to take great care of you! We have only stayed in a B&B a couple of times before and we love it everytime but I felt like this experience was top notch! They had bikes and beach stuff you could borrow - yummy snacks throughout the day - they would pack a lunch for you for a little extra cost - but ALL very worth it! Definitely if you are going to the island - stay at Miss Molly's!

My husband and I stayed on a Fri and Sat night for a quick trip away from DC. We stayed in the Marquerite room (which I think is the biggest). The king bed had premium thread count sheets and a memory foam mattress. Very comfy. Room was adequately a/c'ed. Breakfast was served at 9am, tasty (I could have gone for bigger portions, but it was probably better for me this way!) Very quiet. Once in our room we were never disturbed by other guests. We spent a lot of time on the back screened in porch working (sigh), and visiting with other guests. There was always fresh cookies, lemonade and iced tea available for snacking. We loved the bikes and beach towels they had available for borrowing. Overall not cheap, but high quality!

I love going to Chincoteague because it still feels a little off the beaten path and hasn't been developed beyond recognition like so many nearby beach towns, and it is so beautiful and natural. So I was looking for accommodations that would complement that experience. I found it at Miss Molly's! It's completely charming and cute and well-located in the middle of town. An easy bicycle ride to the beach (and they even lend you a nice bicycle!). Everyone was so nice and the inn was kept spotlessly clean. There were also towels and beach toys to borrow, and fresh cookies and brownies to snack on in the afternoon. The breakfast each morning was filling and yummy as well. I highly recommend Miss Molly's.

On a recent trip south I had the good fortune to stay at the charming Miss Molly's Inn. The inn was immaculate and the hosts welcoming, warm and informative. There were refreshments and home made snacks available at all times. The inn was completely decorated in beautiful antiques and the breakfast was the best I have seen at a B&B. I just wish I had more time to explore the island (they supplied bikes, chairs and beach toys) and eat more of the incredible breakfasts. You owe it to yourselves to try this inn, and I look forward to returning one day soon. Thanks Lin and Sam!

We loved this B&B - it's charming and the screened-in porch is the perfect place to relax after enjoying a bike ride to Assateague Island. The B&B could not be more accomodating - between the complimentary bikes, beach towels, bug spray, beach rafts & towels and the endless supply of homemade snacks - it's a brilliant place to escape to. The breakfasts were consistently tasty. Our only complaint was that it was so quiet the crickets kept us awake at night. In the scheme of things, this is not a serious complaint. The B&B was charming and we would definitely return (just may bring along earplugs)!
