We stayed at the Assateague Inn with our 13 yr old daughter and her friend. The suite included a bedroom, a living/dining/kitchen and kitchen area and a bathroom. It was reasonably priced, clean, with nice details like decent kitchen equipment, thick towels and nice shampoo. It slept 4 comfortably. Chincoteague is not always a gourmet's delight, and it's hard to find vegetables or fruit there, so we were happy to be able to cook or eat take out (or finish off our doggy bags) in the room. The concierge was friendly and helpful, the cleaning staff very thorough, and the location is good, too. We've stayed at both the Quality Inn (OK) and the Sea Hawk (not OK) but we'll definitely choose the Assateague in the next time we visit wonderful Chincoteague.
