...and I mean ever(!) stay here unless you are on a rock bottom skid row economy type budget while traveling. Yes it's cheap for the area but you will get a LOT less than you expect and more than you "bargained" for--trust me. The best I can say? The location is close to shopping, restaurants, etc. The bathroom was pretty clean. Umm yea.
The worst? Wow where do I start? Umm the carpet atrocious...literally black from filth. The smell...there's a strong odor in the hallway...cant put my finger on what it is but it's far from pleasant. My room was reeking of cigarette smoke...I tried everything (within reason as this was a short stay) to get rid of it...no use cause it's in the paint, in the carpet, everywhere...much too much for several cans of Lysol, several glade plug-ins etc. The bed is rock hard. Most machines in the 'on site' laundry are out of order. Oh and the best (worst) part of all? Several teenagers hanging about the parking lot and stairwells, congregating on a daily basis at all hours around the back entrance (which is not locked after hours so anyone off the street can waltz right up into the building at will). In my estimation (as an outsider looking in) this seemed to be a place for locals to shack up for cheap when they cant rent elsewhere...
I have stayed at extended stay hotels before and this one is pathetically below par. My intended stay of 3 weeks was cut short to one week and that was only because the weekly fee is non-refundable. Once you pay, you have to stay...so just STAY AWAY!!
