Only good thing is that the parking lot is fairly well light. Good thing too. Lots of odd characters roaming around after dark.
The bad started as soon as we opened the door to our room. Metal door looked as if it had been kicked in at some point. Door was hung uneven with huge gaps around the edges. All the sounds from the hall way poured into the room...including the train which runs right next to this place.
The bathroom was the WORST ever. Black dirt and grime all over the tub floor and walls as if they had never been cleaned. Thick black mold around the tub faucet and shower nozzle. Hairs on the bathroom floor (which squeaked and moaned when you walked). Plaster or some sort of glue had been spilled on the edge of the tub.
The A/C worked, but the temperature knob was broken so you only got full blast cold. Had to turn it off in the middle of the night because the fan started screeching loudly.
Carpets were filthy. Walls were an odd yellow color and were also dirty. Everything was just dirty or dusty. I don't see how the place is allowed to stay open.
We stayed there only because it was late and it was close to our relatives. We slept in our clothes and found a much nicer, cleaner, newer hotel 10 min away the next day.
Avoid at all costs..unless it's free....
