We stayed here for two nights in early August 2008. My husband and I were traveling with our two children (11 and 14) and booked the Thomas Jefferson and Martha Jefferson rooms, which are connecting rooms on the second floor of the main house. Both rooms were lovely, with tall ceilings and windows and a mix of antiques and reproductions. Both rooms are furnished with King Beds (the bed in the TJ room is a high four-poster), but the Martha Jefferson room is significantly larger and also has a much larger bathroom (with a separate tub and shower, the TJ room has only a shower). Ideally, my husband and I would have preferred the MJ room, but the wireless internet was nearly non-existent in that room - so we gave it to the girls (sigh) and we stayed in the other.
The property is beautiful and we all enjoyed afternoons at the pool overlooking the grounds. The breakfasts (which are included in the nightly rate) were fabulous. We ate lunch there twice - good but a very limited menu and did not have dinner at the Inn at all.
I would definitely return.
