My husband and I went to Cedar Spring Inn to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. We thought we would take advantage of all of the Charlottesville activites, but in the end took advantage of all of the Cedar Spring Inn amenities.

This is a wonderful place to go and relax and just be together. The rooms are likes suites with private balconies, bathrooms to die for, plush bedding and direct tv. The Inn itself boasts wonderful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and has a wonderful homey feeling. The breakfasts are absolutely gourmet and the wine at 6:00 to enjoy the sunet is perfect. The setting, the innkeepers, the rooms and even the pool are absolutely perfect.

I never post to tripadvisor, but after our stay I thought it was definitely worth it to get the good word out.

My husband and I spent our 5th wedding anniversary here. I cannot say enough about this place. The setting is beautiful. The inn itself is very well-appointed and absolutely immaculate. You can tell that a great deal of thought and planning went into every detail. The breakfasts were excellent. We also really enjoyed the swimming pool. Its a great place to cool off and relax after a day of sightseeing and vineyard touring. I would highly recommend.

This was my first time "braving" a bed and breakfast - I wasn't disappointed. Actually, I think any that follow will have a tough time measuring up. Charles and Judy were absolutely great - they provided first-class service with attention to every small detail. It is obvious that they take great pride in every aspect of their inn. The plush linens and bedding, the evening wine, and the gourmet breakfasts - there's no way that I can list all the wonderful things. My favorite might have been the double hammock on the private balconey of our room. It provided a peaceful place to enjoy the rainy afternoon while reading a book and gazing out over the distant mountains. This will not be our last visit!

My husband and I just returned from 3 days at Cedar Springs Inn and it was a wonderful experience. The Inn is immaculately kept and beautifully furnished. We stayed in the Captain's Watch room and it was exactly what we were looking for and more. The mountain views were a great way to start and end each day. We enjoyed the woods and trail that led by the stream each morning and cooled off in the pool in the afternoon. Breakfast was delicious and we were definitely spoiled when we left. Charles and Judy were excellent hosts.

“Best Kept Secret Ever”

Cedar Spring Inn

I have to say that I was very reluctant to make a reservation at a B&B because my first experience with B&B's was a horrible one. After viewing the pictures of Cedar Spring Inn on-line and reading some of the reviews I thought I would take a chance and how glad I am that I did. This place has changed my view of B&B's forever. The subject of this review "Best Kept Secret Ever" is right on point. This was the perfect place for our 1-year wedding anniversary getaway. You can tell that Charles and Judy really care about this place and the experience that their guests have while they are there. If you've ever been here, you know that to get to the Inn, you travel down a small winding road in a wooded area. Well, when we pulled up Charles was blowing leaves off of the gravel drive. Talk about being impressed from the very beginning. I don't think I can say enough good things about our experience. We felt so comfortable and relaxed, we dined on great food (breakfast blew us away), we used all of the amenitites (hot tub, sauna, steam room, fireplace, hammock, etc.) we explored the cabin in the woods, visited a pottery shop and bought Christmas gifts for family members, then on the way home we drove skyline drive with the leaves changing color. What more can you ask for? We definitely plan to go back and have already referred another couple who will be staying at the Inn in a few weeks.
