Dear hubby and I ate here yesterday morning for breakfast. Arrived around 10:15 am and the place, which only has about 10 tables total, wasn't full. There were a good two or three tables open. Seemed to be three active servers, taking orders and offering refills (almost to ad nauseum). I ordered the Duke, which was english muffin, goat cheese, jam covered with eggs and it came with hash brown. It was very tasty, though in truth, could have gone without the eggs. Hubby felt more like lunch and ordered a BLT. How can you go wrong with a BLT, right? Said it was cold and was in the top two of the worst BLT's he'd ever had. We both had home fries, which we both agree was a winner. What put us off, and decidedly sealed it that we won't return, is the service. It took 45 minutes from the moment we order, before we received our food. Did I mention the restaurant wasn't full? Even the tables that were occupied only had 2, maybe 3 people at them. I don't know what the hold up was, but no "your food should be out soon" or "sorry its taking so longer" or any even acknowledgment that it was slow. Which leads me to believe that that was NOT a unique dining experience. It's just a slow restaurant.
