“Amazing Brunch!”

Spectacular food & incredible Bloody Mary's. Located on the pedestrian walk near old downtown.
Absolutely worth the few extra minutes to sit outside and enjoy. This is a must eat venue.

“What a pleasant surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Wow! if you like vegetables done to perfection, go to Hamiltons, right on Main in downtown Charlottesville, Va. The new chef specializes in vegetables and is a great addition to an already top menu. PS: Thomas Jefferson was mostly a vegetarian, considering meat to be a very small part of a balanced diet. This new approach is totally in keeping with that philosophy. Great lunch.

“Excellent food. Great area of town. Wouldn't take the kids unless outside.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

Just visited Hamiton's on April 25, 2013. Food was excellent. Great service. White linen table clothes. The website kept showing photos of a mojito but they were not on the menu. They still brought me one and let me warn you, they are strong! We have a 3 and 4 year old. I would NOT recommend this restaurant for young children unless you are sitting in the outdoor area. The menu is not too kid friendly and it is very quiet in the restaurant. Perfect for a date night, business meeting, or dinenr with friends!
