“Great fried chicken”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

Had a wonderful small batch bourbon and a killer plate of fried chicken with collards. The service was wonderful and although the place was packed I was never overlooked while dining alone at the bar. Perfect!

“Soul food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Make sure to try the biscuits/hush puppy appetizer. You'll probably want to order two. We also tried the fried chicken and collars greens. The coating on the chicken has just the right amount of sage.

The creamed spinach with sweet potato dumplings is also a great choice.

“just had drinks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

we just had drinks at this restaurant/bar, but I loved the vibe. They had a nice craft cider on draft that I enjoyed and the location is fabulous. I was excited that this place was accross the way from our hotel b/c I had just read about it in Southern Living magazine. The menu is pretty small and is definitely southern comfort food, but we did not eat here. We sat outside at their little patio area and later in at the bar.

“Great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Had dinner there as it was right by the Omni where we were staying. Had the fried chicken and collards. Everything is local including free range chicken. A different flavor but very good. Had iced tea in the mason jars. The music was kind of strange and could not understand what they were saying , not impressive. Sounded like they had a mouthful of food. Or too many drinks.
Would eat there again, but would sit outside. Not a place I would take kids.

“Yuk!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Heard good things about this place from associates. Went for lunch, and server encouraged me to try the special, a sausage sandwich with salad side. I could not finish it level of salt was so high I tasted it for hours. On top of that the special was $12. Regret the experience.
